Sign a PDF

Sign a PDF online — no printing, no scanning

Upload the file, mark where to sign, and send a link. The other party signs on their phone in under a minute — with no app and no registration — and you get back a signed PDF with a record of who signed and when.

What exactly do you need to do with the PDF?

The same search can mean two different things. It helps to know which one you need before you start.

Get someone else to sign

A customer, supplier, employee, or partner needs to sign a document you sent. Here, you need more than a signature — you need to know that the document was delivered, that it was opened, who approved it, and when. That is what the system is built for.

Send a PDF for signature

Sign it yourself

You received a form and only need to add your signature and send it back. You can do that with us too — upload, sign, and download. But if that is all you need, the PDF reader on your computer will also do the job. We will not sell you something you do not need.

Upload and sign

How to send a PDF for signature

Four steps. The first send takes about two minutes, and the next ones take less.

  1. 1

    Upload the file

Upload one PDF, or several files in the same send — a contract, appendix, and quote can all go out together in one link.

  2. 2

    Mark where to sign

Drag a signature field to the right place on the page. You can also add a date, full name, initials, or fillable field.

  3. 3

    Send a link

Send it by email, SMS, or as a link you share yourself. The other party does not need to install anything or register.

  4. 4

    Get the signed document back

The signed PDF is saved in your account, along with a record of what was sent, when it was opened, who approved it, and which version they approved.

Why not just print, sign, and scan?

A scan is an image, not a record

A scanned PDF shows that there is a signature. It does not show who signed, when, from which device, or which version of the document they signed. When a dispute arises, that is exactly the information you need.

The other party does not need a printer

Most people are not near a printer when they receive a document. Once they have to print, sign, photograph, and send it back, the process can stall for days.

Everything in one place

Signed documents are not scattered across folders, emails, and download folders. They are stored in one archive with their full activity history.

See where it is stuck

Sent, opened, signed — or not. Instead of guessing whether the customer received it, you can see the status and send a reminder with one click.

Sign a PDF on your phone

Most signatures are completed on mobile, so the signing screen is designed for phones first: the file opens in the browser, the signer signs with a finger, and the confirmation is sent immediately. You can share the link in whatever way works for you — the other party opens it like any other link.

What this means legally

The Electronic Signature Law (חוק חתימה אלקטרונית), התשס״א‑2001 distinguishes between different types of signatures, each with its own requirements and evidentiary weight. A certified electronic signature, for example, requires a hardware device from a recognized certification authority — it is not the same as a regular electronic signature. IsraeliSign helps you manage the signing process and maintain an organized record of every action; it is not a substitute for legal advice and does not determine which category under the law applies to your document. If your document is subject to a specific regulatory requirement, you should check it in advance.

Frequently asked questions about signing PDFs

How do I sign a PDF without printing it?

Upload the file to the system, mark where the signature is required, and send a link to the signer. They open the link in their browser, sign with a finger or mouse, and the signed file is returned to you. There is no printing or scanning.

Does the signer need to install an app or register?

No. The signer opens a link in their browser and signs. Only the person sending the document needs to register.

Can multiple people sign the same PDF?

Yes. You can add multiple signers to the same document, give each signer their own signature field, and track who has signed and who has not.

Can I send several files in the same signing process?

Yes. A contract, appendices, and quote can all be sent together in one link as a signing package, instead of in several separate sends.

Where is the signed document stored?

In your archive in the system, together with the activity record for that send. You can download the signed PDF at any time.

How much does it cost?

You can start for free. Plans are based on the number of signing processes per month — full details are available on the pricing page.

Have a PDF waiting to be signed?
